Have you ever felt lost in life? Are you indecisive of which path to choose? Do you feel pressure to be a certain person?
These emotions are all to be expected, I've been there before. The main ways I've found to overcome these feelings are introspection and a deep understanding of the self.
As cliche as it sounds, life should be about the journey not the destination. The things we learn, the people we meet, the experiences we have all contribute to our understanding of life. With this rationality, you are not lost but rather exactly where you need to be at this moment. This concept can be hard to accept so take time to process where you are now and your potential for future growth. There is no rush to be anywhere or anybody.
Indecision or paralysis in life is always guided by fear. The fear of rejection, the fear of failure or the fear or missing out. The reality is that you cannot predict the future or control all variables of the outcome. Following your intuition and using you gut to guide your decision making preocess eliminate the element of regret. As the quote states, there are no wrong turnings only expected paths which means everything happens for a reason.
It is easy to blame society on all the stresses we face: to look beautiful, to be rich, to fit in. However, it is always up to us to decide if we succumb to these pressures or have the courage to swim against the tide. Ask yourself: why am I doing this? Is it for me? Is it because my friends are doing it too? Is it just to look good on my Instagram feed? We have constantly been conditioned to be validated by external opinion which may surpress your true life purpose. Understanding your motives and your internal drive is the key to unlocking your life path.
Take time the time to understand yourself and find your true purpose. Only then can you truly walk you path with pride.
